  • Install the Aspenware Commerce plugin.

    1. Go to Aspenware > Commerce > Configuration > Local Plugins.

    2. Search Aspenware Commerce.

    3. Select Install.

    4. Restart the Application.

    5. Related Products is now installed and will show on your PDP.

Resorts have the option to toggle on/off pricing display on Related product tiles store-wide with the setting aspenwarecommercesettings.hidepricingonpromotionalproducttiles (available in 3.4 or later)

  • When set to true, prices are hidden on these tiles across Legacy and Cloud UI Product Detail Pages (PDPs)

  • When set to false, prices remain visible.

Admin users are advised to review Meta Text on the Related products, as the Meta Text will always display on these tiles.

Language Strings

  • The default title, “Related Products” can be changed in Languages by doing the following:

  • Go to Configuration > Languages > English > Edit

    1. Search for the Resource Name: products.relatedproducts

    2. Edit value as desired (e.g. Your Related Products). Recommended titles include

      1. “You might also like”

      2. “Customers also viewed”

Detailed Setup Guide

1. Associate Related Products to Products

  • Go to Catalog > Products > Your product

    1. Scroll down to the Related Products section of the product editor page.

  • Select Add new related product.

  • Search for your related product and select the checkbox next to the product you would like to relate.

     

  • Click Save.

  • Save the overall product.

NOTE: If you would like the relationship between products to be highlighted on the product detail pages of both products, go through Step 1 in the detailed setup guide for both of the products.

IMPORTANT: Long product titles may enlarge related products cards to fit titles. Aspenware recommends keeping product titles to a few words.
