Checking Order Status and Details

Once a customer has gone through checkout and payment has been taken on an order, an order is placed in nopCommerce and it enters the order queue to be sent to RTP|One. Typically, going into the Order Queue is prompted by receiving a failed order email (see Receive Order Failure Emails for how to distribute the failed order email to additional people).

  1. To access the Order Queue go to the Aspenware Commerce Plugins>Order Queue page.

  2. Filter the orders by order status.

  3. Each order has a button to view details, the date the order was placed, the status, a list of the number of attempts, an Object Id (which is the same as the External Order ID, Nop OrderID, without the prefix), and a link to flag an order to be reprocessed. Every order will fall into one of the following statuses:

    • Ready: Orders will be in this state in one of two circumstances

      1. The order has just been created in the queue to be sent to RTP; and order will only be in this state for less than a minute before the order queue picks orders up every 30 seconds.

      2. The order had failed, but was fixed in RTP|One or in the database and has been flagged by an Admin by them selecting Set Ready.

    • Processing:  Order has been sent to RTP|One and is being created in RTP.

    • Success: Order successfully sent to RTP|One.

    • Failed: Order failed while being sent to or created in RTP|One.

  4. To view details on order failures, click View Details. Failures typically occur from nopCommerce or RTP|One product setup.

  5. View details on the Details page which shows the RTP|Connect logs detailing why the order failed. Please contact Aspenware (support@aspenware.com) if the error messaging on this details page does not point to a known and fixable (e.g. RTP configuration mismatch) cause of error. See Failed Order Troubleshooting for assistance with deciphering the error code.
