Arrival - Disabling CRM Email Automations

Overview

Do you need to pause Arrival emails from sending to guests? If you utilize AWA’s (Aspenware Arrival) API to automatically send emails from your CRM, you can disable this with two different methods.

Solutions

  1. [Reccomended] Login to your CRM and disable emails from sending. AWA provides APIs that your CRM can call and filter results so only specific guests are communicated to. The simplest method to pause this is to make changes in your CRM. You can also update the API parameters that the CRM is calling on.

  2. If absolutely necessary you can delete the API key in AWA (Aspenware Arrival). This will break the connection to your CRM and prevent the CRM from obtaining future data from AWA. It would also require reconfiguration in the CRM to allow the CRM to sync again. To delete the API key, login to Arrival > click the API tab > click “Delete”.
