Redeeming Mountain Collective Days with Aspenware Commerce

Can your resort enable Mountain Collective pass holders to skip the line and go direct to the lift? Sugarbush can! While most resorts have made it possible for many visitors to bypass long ticket window lines, Mountain Collective Passholders are one of the last groups that can be the hardest to send direct to lift. Aspenware Commerce has made it possible for pass holders to reserve their days in advance, buddy tickets to be redeemed online, and now, even Mountain Collective days can be redeemed and reloaded online.

 

Mountain Collective pass holders can redeem their days online, load their access onto an existing media card (if applicable), or receive a QR code to pick their ticket up at a Pickup Box located on-premise. This is done within Aspenware Commerce through the voucher redemption capability, which was released December 2020.

 

Sugarbush is the first resort on Aspenware Commerce to use the new voucher redemption feature for Mountain Collective pass holders, and they have seen tremendous success! Sugarbush allows Mountain Collective pass holders to either reload their 2 or 3 included days onto existing Sugarbush media or receive a QR Code to pick-up their media at a Pickup Box at the Sugarbush base area. In both cases, the skier can skip the ticket window altogether. In the Sugarbush store, when redeeming their voucher, a guest is able to upload their photo (if required) and sign a COVID attestation (required for Vermont).

Sugarbush uses their brand site to provide “know before you go” details around how to redeem all their "Special" tickets. This helpful page links guests directly to the store where they can redeem a Mountain Collective voucher.

On the store, a voucher banner is visible above the product cards and the product detail page area. This banner is visible at all times until the guest has entered the checkout flow:

The guest will enter their voucher code here and click “Validate.” If valid, the guest will then be presented with a message like the below, linking the guest to the appropriate product for their voucher.

 

The guest will be taken to a unique PDP where they can add to the cart:

In checkout, guests are either prompted to reload (if available) or purchase new media for a small fee, which is able to be picked up at the PUB.

From there, the guest will complete their purchase and will receive a confirmation email with a QR code. The QR code can be scanned at a Pickup Box for automatic media printing.

 

NOTE: If your resort would like to prevent guests from redeeming someone else's voucher by validating the name of the person who is linked to the voucher, please reach out to your Aspenware Representative and we can assist with this additional set up.
