Q: Can I have different messaging depending on which QR code-enabled product is purchased?
A: No, there is only one language string for the confirmation page and one for the confirmation email. You may consider using the confirmation page QR code for one type of product (with one set of instructions) and the confirmation email QR code for another type of product (with a different set of instructions). Note that the QR codes are always a representation of the order and not specific to the product.
Q: What if I purchase more than one QR-code-enabled product?
A: The QR code will only show once in on the product confirmation page and/or email.
Q: What if I would like to use the new QR code token on other message templates?
A: The new QR code tokens are available across every message template, however, have only been tested within the order confirmation email. As the token rendering is based on specific products being purchased Aspenware cannot guarantee that the QR code will display when applied to different email templates.
Q: Does the QR code functionality work when media is added during checkout?
A: Yes, if either of the products has enabled the QR code functionality.
Q: Will my QR code be readable on my phone?
A: We have optimized the QR code to be scannable on mobile, though your theme may affect the presentation of both the content as well as the QR code size. See below for one example:
