Re-Syncing Golf Tee Times

 

Overview

Problem:

Tee times are showing as available on the first screen in eComm even though they’re booked in EZLinks. When a customer tries to select it, it will say “The tee time selected has been reserved by another party.”

Source of Problem:

This is due to a sync problem with tee times and EZLinks. This will occur at the beginning of the golf season.

Solution

We recommend doing the following technical tasks before every season. These will need to be done by the Aspenware Development Team, so please make that request by contacting the Service Team at support@aspenware.com

Syncing Tasks:

  1. Delete all records in the Redis cache

  2. Unsubscribe from the EZLinks Xtream Service for every sponsor and course ID using the Xtream API

  3. Initialize every sponsor and course ID using the Xtream API

  4. Subscribe from the EZLinks Xtream Service for every sponsor and course ID using the Xtream API
