Biometrics Login new feature

With the release of Identity v3, we’ve introduced Biometrics Login, enabling users to sign in using their device’s biometrics instead of a password. This enhancement improves security, eliminates the need to remember passwords, and modernizes identity and access management. For more information, please see Biometrics Login.

Customer Matching Enhancements

We’ve refined the customer matching logic in Identity v3 to better handle scenarios where two existing customers in RTP share the same email, first name, and last name. If one of these customers has an auth profile but is missing required information, they will be prompted to complete their profile during sign-in. After completing this step, they will not match to the existing customer. Because Identity v3 asks to users to complete their profile at sign-in, this logic was added to ensure that existing customer records, including those with associated media or other data, are preserved during the profile update process.

Email Verification for New Accounts

We have fixed an issue in Identity v3 (Powered by Auth0) where new customer accounts that matched an existing RTP record could become unusable if the customer did not verify their email before the resort merged the account. The user received an error message, and login was prevented. The account creation process now works as expected in these customer match scenarios.

Display of Missing Fields for Create Profile

The backend logic for the Create/Update User Profile page has been enhanced to ensure missing fields are displayed accurately when an existing user signs in. This logic dynamically determines which fields need to be collected based on the customer’s data in RTP. For example, if a guest’s date of birth is missing in RTP, only that specific field will be displayed for completion.

Family Sync with Identity v3

We've updated the family sync upon login with IDv3 to improve performance for accounts that have larger families.

Enhanced Google Analytics for Identity v3

Several enhancements were added to Google Analytics tracking in Identity v3. For more information, please see the Google Analytics Reference Guide.
