Time-Based Activity
A time-based activity offering is an activity that is offered at time slots throughout the day.
Feature Description
Time-based activity products are products that are pretty simple and offered at time slots throughout the day. Examples include tubing, zip-lining, or snowshoe tours. Time-based activities can be set up for products that are set up in RTP|One as an activity. By setting up a product as a time-based activity, it checks for available time-slots and associated inventory to populate on the product detail page. Activity functionality also activates an “Activity Lock” as soon as the product has been added to the cart, if the lock expires before checkout, the site attempts to retrieve a new “Activity Lock” and if it is unsuccessful, removes the activity product from the cart. The same “lock checking” behavior occurs before completing checkout.
