Pass Checker enables guests to enter their card number (passmedia# or RFID#) to check if their media will work at a specific lift. Among many use cases, guests can check if their pass is hotlisted due to incomplete tasks or if their pass is blacked out for the selected date.
Pass Checker can be used to validate guest lift tickets for two criteria: date and access control.
Pass/Lift ticket holders can check for “mountain-wide” access
A default lift can be set up so guests are only required to input their Pass# or RFID# and select a date. Most commonly used if the resort does not restrict access to any lifts.
Pass/Lift ticket holders can check for “lift-specific” access
Multiple lifts can be added so guests can check for access to specific lifts. Beneficial for resorts that offer different products such as a “Beginner Ticket” and an “All Mountain Ticket”. The Pass Checker Window allows the guest to select which lift access they are verifying for on a specific day.
Resort offers day and night skiing tickets (day and night must have an overlapping access time)
Aspenware can modify the defaulted scan validation time of 11:30AM MT so if a day ticket is valid until 4:00PM MT and a night ticket is valid starting at 3:00PM MT, then Aspenware can update the default validation scan time to fall in between this time period. If there is no overlap in time, then Pass Checker does not currently support day and night ticket validation concurrently.
