This guide will review how to set up Enhancements to the Dynamic Pricing Calendar in Aspenware Commerce. For more information about Dynamic Pricing setup see https://hub.aspenware.net/main/Reimagined-Dynamic-Pricing.1948090463.html or for general release notes, see {Link to Release Notes}
Overview
Colors on the Dynamic Pricing Calendar may now be chosen by the resort. Additionally, language strings for the labels can be customized.
Language strings now allow for the customization of the “Sold Out” language.
Available inventory is available on mobile as well as desktop using the following language:
suggestion - plenty (green), limited (yellow), not available (red or grey)
Toggle for color-coding based on pricing level OR based on inventory
A legend is on top of the calendar to indicate what each color represents in terms of product availability.
Will something need to be installed or will it just be available with the version?
Aspenware will attempt (but not guarantee) to make the following adjustments to the current calendar set up to make configuration more accessible and easier/faster to deploy:
The dynamic pricing calendar will either be relocated into the Dynamic Pricing plugin or into a new theming UI that will allow for resorts to configure the calendar and have non-deploy-dependent changes
Time permitting options discussed and not guaranteed:
amount saved visible configurable on mobile vs. desktop - not charged to JH
% vs $ for amount saved option - not charged to JH
selectable color options on calendar (vs. those agreed upon by JH) - not charged to JH
linking to outside resources such as JH home page describing other ways to get tickets when inventory is sold out
product level dynamic calendar settings such as - not charged to JH
dollar vs % saved
threshold for inventory remaining showing
