Q: I’m getting the following error in the checkout 'There was an error receiving your personalization wavier Info Cannot read property "HouseHoldMemberWaivers' of undefined.”

A: This error is typically returned when a product is set up to have a waiver in Aspenware Commerce, but the ‘Requires Assignment’ rule has not been added to the product. Adding the ‘Requires Assignment’ rule according to the configuration guide should result in this error going away.

Q: When assigning the ‘Requires Assignment’ product classification do I check any of the boxes for attribute values.

A: No. Assigning the 'Requires Assignment' Classification should only be done at the product level, not the category level or the attribute level.

Q: I’ve assigned Requires Add-On Assignment to the add on attribute values and requiring separate add on assignment is not working. Help please!

A: The attributes on the core product cannot be classified as 'Requires Add-On Assignment". You need to classify the add-on product itself. The setup in the image with the red x below would need to be deleted and the setup in the image with the green check would need to be created.

Q: I’m getting a failed order because the product in the POS is setup to require assignment, but in Aspenware Commerce, it was not set up to require assignment.

Because the assignment is required in RTP, this Aspenware Commerce product must require assignment as well.  Follow the configuration guide to complete this setup.

Q: I’m unable to add a product to cart, the add to cart button is greyed out.

A: Confirm that the ‘AssignedTo' attribute is not a Required attribute. Uncheck Is Required on the 'AssignedTo’ attribute.

Q: I’m configuring a time-based activity product. Is there anything special that I should do for this product to require assignment?

A: You can set up the product to Require Assignment in checkout, but do not add the ‘AssignedTo’ attribute to any time-based activity products that leverage quantity selection on the product detail page.
