Holiday Sales

It’s that time of year again, with the holidays right around the corner. So what are some best practices you can use during your Holiday Sales, to maximize your resort’s success?

  • Selective Guest Checkout: With Selective Guest Checkout, you will increase conversion by specifying select products as a “Guest Checkout” product. This is extremely helpful in your sales, as many guests use this time to purchase gifts for their loved ones. It will:​ reduce cart abandonment​, accelerate checkout speed​, and should lead to increased sales​.

  • Cross Sell: Cross Sell allows you to select specific products that you wish to drive further traffic and sales towards.  This is different than your ability for add-ons and related products.  This feature allows you to call direct attention to another product, that is typically complimentary to the guest’s shopping cart.

  • Scaling: If your resort decides to run a flash the sale during this time period, then scaling will be necessary, in order to keep the guest experience smooth.  We define a flash sale as a short period of time where your resort will be driving 300% more traffic to your e-commerce site than what is typical.​ See the above Scaling article in how to properly request your store to be scaled.
