Moneris and Heartland are integrated with Aspenware Commerce

Aspenware is proud to increase the options available to our resort customers by partnering with some of the best known payment gateways in the world! For our Canadian customers, Moneris is now fully integrated into Aspenware Commerce, with a full complement of credit card services, including integrated CVV and AVS for fraud protection. Resorts based in the USA can now choose to work with Heartland Payments for their ecommerce credit card processing. Heartland is a preferred provider for Aspenware, with enhanced token-based functionality available for users of the latest version of RTP|One. Our robust integration includes all the standard credit card and integrated fraud prevention functions, as well as tie-ins to exciting Aspenware Commerce functions like Payment Plans.

Affirm Integration

Did you know that Aspenware Commerce now offers integration with Affirm? You may have seen Affirm on many eCommerce websites such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, or Delta Vacations offering customers the option to pay for their online purchases over time with fixed monthly payments. The Buy Now, Pay Later financing method is becoming more and more popular for American consumers, especially for larger discretionary purchases.

Scaling for Flash Sales, Product Launches, or Other Website Events

If you are planning a flash sale or a product launch with limited-time pricing or inventory, Aspenware strongly recommends scaling for these scenarios. Please review the scenarios here and take the appropriate actions. Notify your Aspenware Representative at least 7 business days prior to the flash sale to ensure your site has the proper Azure tier for the sale and get your product configuration questions answered ahead of the sale. 

Holiday Sales

It’s that time of year again, with the holidays right around the corner. So what are some best practices you can use during your Holiday Sales to maximize your resort’s success?

  • Selective Guest Checkout: With Selective Guest Checkout, you will increase conversion by specifying select products as a “Guest Checkout” product. This is extremely helpful in your sales, as many guests use this time to purchase gifts for their loved ones. It will:​ reduce cart abandonment​, accelerate checkout speed​, and should lead to increased sales​.

  • Cross Sell: Cross Sell allows you to select specific products that you wish to drive further traffic and sales towards.  This is different than your ability for add-ons and related products.  This feature allows you to call direct attention to another product, that is typically complimentary to the guest’s shopping cart.

  • Scaling: If your resort decides to run a flash sale during this time period, then scaling will be necessary in order to keep the guest experience smooth.  We define a flash sale as a short period of time where your resort will be driving approximately 300% more traffic to your e-commerce site than what is typical.​ See the above Scaling article on how to properly request your store to be scaled.
