Enhancements
Resorts using RTP Connect and selling time-based activities (tubing, for example) can now improve performance for those products.
A new setting has been added to the Unity rtp-config.json file ("ForceActivityProcessorToBase"), which, when set to TRUE, will deliver faster loading of time-based activities on calendar pages by redirecting two calls (Activity Time Slot and Add To Cart) directly to Unity. Resorts can remain on RTP Connect for order processing and still take advantage of this performance improvement.
No other changes to RTP Connect were made. Please contact your Aspenware Service Representative (support@aspenware.com) if you would like to implement this feature.
Resolved Issues
Resorts running that upgraded to RTP|One v.2023.1.0.9 or later were experiencing errors related to a change made by RTP to a stored procedure that Aspenware employs to process orders that include time-based activity. The parameter @ProductHeaderXML was removed from "proc_publicGetProductHeaderActivity" in RTP|One 2023.1.0.9, not in 2023.1.0.10 as originally reported. Customers are now able to viewing, adding to cart, or purchasing time-based activities due to a missing parameter. Customers can now view available dates, add to cart, and checkout successfully check out with time-based activity products successfully.
