Feature Description
Aspenware Commerce includes a discount feature that enables resorts to configure discount codes that guests can enter in the store to receive discounts on products in their cart. Some features included with discount codes include:
Availability to all resorts, regardless of the POS being used
Code collection in the shopping cart
Shared, not unique, codes
Discount on a full-priced product rather than access to discounted or free “gated products”
Shopping cart discount codes can have some restrictions placed on them such as maximum discount allowed, maximum or minimum number of quantities, or restrictions on the dates of product use
The most popular use of this feature is the application of discounts at the product level. Discounts can also be applied to products with pricing defined in the Dynamic Pricing plugin or at the order level (Siriusware users only.) If a product has been assigned a discount, but its add-ons have not, only the core product will be discounted. The add-on can be discounted individually as well. The feature does not support the discounting of shipping fees.
