Discount vouchers can apply to multiple products. An example of this would be “30% off an Adult or Child Lift Ticket.” The vouchers can only be used on one product and, if more than one product is added to the cart, they will not work. These are similar to a discount code, but discount codes are more robust. Consider whether it would better fit your needs to use a discount code instead of a discount voucher. Payment value vouchers are simply an alternate form of payment, like a gift card. An example would be if a resort offered all season pass holders $100 to apply to any purchase. Feature Description
Aspenware Commerce supports using payment value vouchers during the checkout flow as an additional payment type. It also offers product voucher redemption directly from any page on a resort’s commerce site. It allows a variety of voucher types to be redeemed online using an installed banner widget which can be accessed from anywhere on a resort’s Commerce store. This functionality is perfect for the redemption of Friends & Family tickets or Employee coupons.
