2.23 Commerce Release Guide - Advanced Dynamic Pricing Calendar
This guide will review how to set up the new Advanced Dynamic Pricing Calendar in Aspenware Commerce. For more information about Dynamic Pricing setup see Login - Aspenware Customer Hub or for general release notes, see 2.23 Commerce Release Notesarchived
Overview
The Advanced Dynamic Pricing Calendar allows for further customization of the calendar by resorts to enable color-coding that correlates with either POS inventory or dynamic pricing level inventory to denote “Sold Out,” “Limited” and “Plenty” for each calendar date. Different colors will display on each calendar day depending on POS inventory or dynamic pricing level numbers and how they relate to the globally predetermined thresholds. The enhanced calendar also features language strings that allow for further customization of the legend and the calendar boxes.
Configuration Guide
Dynamic pricing must be configured for all relevant products. To learn more about Dynamic Pricing, please see Dynamic Pricing.

Detailed Setup Guide
Go to Aspenware Commerce > Aspenware Styling to access the Pricing Calendar screen.
To enable the Advanced Calendar on your store site, click the Enable Advanced Calendar toggle.
By default, the Use POS Inventory toggle will use the POS inventory pools to determine inventory count and threshold to determine daily calendar background color. If Use POS Inventory is toggled to the left, it will use pricing count inventory set in dynamic pricing to determine daily calendar background color. When a pricing level sells out, the background color will change from under threshold background color to over threshold background color.
Threshold Settings enables you to change threshold settings easily (rather than going through the All Settings window in admin as detailed below).
Pricing Count Message Threshold is the threshold for the Dynamic Pricing Levels.
Inventory Message Threshold is the threshold setting for POS Inventory pools.

Common Troubleshooting Guide
Q: I’m using Dynamic Pricing Levels for my Advanced Calendar. Why do the dates turn green after they’ve just been red?
A: When using Pricing Levels for the inventory thresholds for the calendar, the background color of each calendar date will adjust with each level. So, if the first level gets low and is red (or whatever color you’ve set for that threshold setting), once it is sold out, it moves to the next pricing level. That new level will have inventory numbers over the threshold and, as such, will make the background green (or whatever color you’ve set for that threshold setting) for that date.
