Commerce 3.2.4 Release Notes |
---|
Recently, our QR code generator became unreliable, resulting in inconsistent QR code rendering, which caused some guests to be unable to scan and print their media on-site or utilize print-at-home reliably. As a result, Aspenware has implemented a new QR code generator. With your help, the Aspenware services team quickly replaced QR codes in the message templates with the updated QR code generator using the ‘advanced’ feature process described here: QR Code Sourcecode Update. At the same time, our development team implemented a trigger to replace print-at-home QR codes with properly rendering access codes.
With this 3.2.4 Hotfix, we have:
Made the QR generator fix permanent. Your resort should not have to make any changes but can continue to use either the simple or advanced process for global and/or product-based QR code generation found here: Simple Method or Advanced Method.
Made the print-at-home QR code generator fix permanent. Your resort should not have to make any changes but can continue to use the process (using the %Order.Barcodes%) to generate your access codes as described here: Print at Home Ticketing
Fixed the product-based QR code shown on the confirmation page. If your resort removed QR code generation on the confirmation page, you may safely re-add it using the instructions found here: Product-Triggered QR Codes.
