Marketing: Theme Revision Guidelines

Overview

Once the Aspenware Design Team has finalized the site theme, the resort can review it for accuracy and provide revisions to the areas listed below.

IMPORTANT: Theme revisions can only be requested if an element’s appearance detracts from the shopping experience. Preferential modifications are not included for initial theme design and will not be modified for ecommerce go-live dates.

Revision Guidelines

If theme elements detract from the guest shopping experience, the following areas can be modified by request if clear and specific changes are provided. The request must also be made within five business days of the initial theme being returned to the resort. Review both from a desktop and mobile view.

IMPORTANT: As modifications are not contracted, changes are not guaranteed to meet go-live if there is not sufficient Aspenware developer capacity to complete the change request(s).

Font adjustments

Modifications that can be changed include:

1. Font weight

2. Font size

3. Boldness

Color Adjustments

1. Primary Buttons

Note that a change to the primary button affects all primary buttons. A primary button on one page cannot differ from the primary button on another. For example, the primary button cannot be different in checkout than it is on the PDP.

2. Secondary Buttons

Note that a change to the secondary button affects all secondary buttons. A secondary button on one page cannot differ from the secondary button on another. For example, the secondary button cannot be different in checkout than it is on the PDP.

3. Font colors

Font colors can only be changed if they are unreadable. For example, a button that is bright yellow with white text would cause the text inside the button to be unreadable.

Providing Revision Requests

If a revision is required, provide the request with as much detail as possible. Providing a screenshot of the affected area with specifics of the change needed is preferred. Google Slides for example work very well as an image can be input along with text indicating the change desired.

Mockups can be used as well if the resort is able to generate them.
