Common Troubleshooting: Google Analytics Identity and Arrival
Common Troubleshooting: Google Analytics Identity and Arrival
Q: I’ve set up Google Analytics, but the data isn’t populating. What’s going on?
A: Make sure you’ve updated the GTM setting with the GTM ID and configured the link between GTM and GA using the tracking ID steps in the configuration guide. Usually, it’s one of these steps that’s missing.
Q: Is there a way to track test and prod separately?
A: Yes. You need to create a separate GTM ID and GA account and set it up for test. Then, add the test GTM ID to your test site setting for the customer GTM setting. See the instructions in the configuration guide for more detail.
