Rental Profile
The rental profile is the component in Aspenware Commerce where personalized guest rental information (ski ability, height, weight, age, and shoe size) are captured during checkout and then stored in RTP|One or Siriusware to be used for rental fulfillment.
Rental Location
A rental location is the specific shop where the ski or snowboarding equipment is to be picked up. A resort may have one or many locations and the location page can be configured accordingly. In RTP|One, a separate order is created for rental products so the rental fulfillment location can easily access the profile information for product customization. This way, the rental equipment will be ready for the guest upon arrival.
Feature Description
Guests are required to fill out profile information required to determine DIN settings. This profile displays on the personalization step of checkout.
Next, on the delivery step of checkout, if multiple rental locations are configured, the guest is prompted to choose which location they would like to pick up their rental order from.
For each location, an image of the rental shop on a map is displayed and additional information can be shown to help a guest decide on a location, such as nearby hotels, hours of operation, a description, gear brands offered, and more.
