2.13 Commerce Release Guide - Waiver Enhancements

In this release, we’ve added configurable language strings for several labels which were previously hard-coded. We’ve defaulted the language strings ResourceValues to the previous labels, so administrators who don’t wish to change them don’t need to do anything.

See the red outlined areas on this sample waiver. All of these are now configurable, using the language string names below.

 

The new Language Strings are:


Aspenware.Waivers.SignaturePanelText 

  • Text right above the signature panel (bottom of the release). 

  • Default Value: "By completing the information below, I represent that I am {0}, a parent or legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to sign on their behalf." 

  • Signer's name will be substituted for {0}

Aspenware.Waivers.ScrollMessage

  • Text indicating that the waiver must be scrolled to the bottom to sign

  • Default Value: "View/Scroll to the bottom of the document to sign"

Aspenware.Waivers.WetSignaturePrompt

  • Text just to the left of the wet signature canvas

  • Default Value: "SIGN HERE"

Aspenware.Waivers.SignatureAffirmationStatement

  • Text underneath the wet signature

  • Default: "I state that I can sign for {0}."

  • Signer's name will be substituted for {0}

Aspenware.Waivers.ClearButtonText

  • Text on the button to clear all signature data

  • Default: "CLEAR"

Aspenware.Waivers.SignButtonText

  • Text on the button to Submit signature data

  • Default: "SIGN"
