Group Member Selection on Mobile

A visual change to the appearance of group member selection on the assignment page on mobile has been completed. Now, show/hide group button does not get cut off and the Manage Your Group text fits within the box. While a similar issue persists on desktop, this only occurs with greater than 18 family members. A recommended solution to this issue to use the new setting checkout.assignment.isgroupmembertoolbarenabled to disable this view.

Tab Order for non-USD Date Format

An issue with tab order for non-USD date format is fixed when creating a new family member from the PDP assignment module so that dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy is tabbed in the appropriate order.

Hide the Manage Your Group Modal

A new setting (checkout.assignment.isgroupmembertoolbarenabled) allows you to hide the Manage Your Group modal on the Assignment page in the checkout flow. This setting option is based on user interaction research that points to guest confusion when seeking the Continue button after making their assignments. Hiding the modal, elevates the continue button, allowing guests who successfully assign their group members to easily select continue and advance to the next step of checkout.

Aspenware is asking that resorts wishing to test this enhancement, reach out to your customer success representative so that may we work with you to measure its success. To test out this setting, you can add it via Admin > All Settings. Add a new record by inputting the new setting name [checkout.assignment.isgroupmembertoolbarenabled] and setting the value to False. This can be turned off anytime by setting the value to False. Note, even if this setting is enabled, hiding the group member modal by default upon page landing, guests selecting "Add New" during the Assignment step will still access the modal to create new users and manage guest accounts.
