Retail ProductA retail product is distinct from the core products (lift tickets, season passes, rental equipment, etc.) offered in Aspenware Commerce. A retail product is typically a souvenier-type item that is sold separately from the resort use offerings. It is configured similarly to core products, but uses a unique retail template that offers additional configuration options for retail sales. Retail Product AttributeA retail product attribute is similar to a core product attribute in that it further distinguishes variants within the retail product offering. Typical variants include size and color. Each attribute combination maps to a unique RTP|One product header code for easy inventory management. Retail TaxRetail tax is the specific tax rate that is applied to retail items, as opposed to regular resort-use products. Retail tax can be set at a flat rate for all locations in the US or it can be configured to be based upon the shipping location. |
Feature Description
The Retail component of Aspenware Commerce enables a resort to offer another revenue stream, through selling retail items online. This fully functional online store enables resorts that use RTP|One for a POS. This component works seamlessly with RTP|One to update retail inventory quantities, create unique codes for each size/color combination, and customize tax as needed.
