Enhancements
Ikon Friends and Family
The Ikon Friends and Family plugin has been enhanced to now support multiple entitlement ID types within the currently existing text field boxes. This enhancement allows for comma-separated values that will allow resorts to add both the entitlement ID type that may be used by the passholder pass holder (and voucher owner), and those one-use voucher entitlement ID types that can be emailed out from the Ikon website. For more information see the updated Ikon Friends & Family Configuration Guide.

Kount is a popular third-party fraud prevention and detection tool that is now available for use as a standalone tool, in conjunction with your integrated payment gateway. Users can configure Kount to decline transactions to eliminate potential fraud , or focus extra scrutiny on approved transactions, declining them after the fact and whitelisting the media. An independent account and agreement with Kount must be established to use this plugin. Resolved Issues
Some resorts with multiple inventory pools assigned to a product that also leveraged mulitmulti-day consecutive date functionality found that these products would receive an “insufficient inventory” error during checkout because there were not enough matching pools. This issue has been resolved.
Resorts have reported failed orders after the 2.20 upgrade during high volume sales periods. This is likely related to a time-out error followed by duplicate “complete” calls. Aspenware has disabled this button when error scenarios happen, requiring any timeouts to require re-completion at checkout. In this case, the orders will have defined customers and order line items. Please reach out to Aspenware if failed orders with no line items or defined customers persist.

IMPORTANT: According to several resorts, failed order issues persist. Aspenware is readdressing this solution in 2.26. Please reach out to customer services with new or continued concerns. |
