Q: My category is setupset up, but not functioning on our site.

A: Often this happens when the product is assigned to the parent category instead of the subcategory. Go to catalog > products > your product in aspenware admin Aspenware Admininstration to ensure the product is assigned to the subcategory and NOT the parent category.

A: In Aspenware Commerce Admin, go to configuration > settings > all settings > search in the name field for: catalogsettings.defaultcategory. From here you can update the field with the SEO of the category you wish to make the default.
