Feature Description

Managing email addresses is a key step toward empowering guests to take greater control of their own data. This feature reduces the burden on resorts by allowing guests to update their email addresses directly, without requiring staff assistance.

From the guest's perspective, this enhancement eliminates potential confusion by ensuring that any changes made to one email address automatically apply to both Account email and Communication email. This consistency improves the overall guest experience and ensures seamless communication.

Changing An Email

In order to change the email, a guest must login and navigate to my account. A new navigation tab called ‘email management’ has been added where the user can view the current account and communications emails. Changing the email will change both authentication and email profile in RTP.

There are some key differences between Identity v2 and Identity v3.

Identity v2

  • All emails go through communications email.

  • Account email is used only for signing in/authenticating.

Identity v3

  • Communications email is used for all order confirmations, payment plans, and subscriptions notifications from Aspenware. Additionally, if your resort has marketing opt-in, emails will also go to this email for the guest.

  • Account email is used for signing in as well as receiving account verifications, reset password emails, and invitations (create account with pass).
