We have enhanced the create/update customer profile page after sign-in and sign-up. The below changes were made in order to improve the user experience and only capture the information that was missing in RTP.

Sign Up Flow

For a sign-up flow, we have made the following updates:

The page will continue to display how it has, presenting all missing fields: first, last, DOB, zip, phone, consent. However, we have added an additional language string to be more instructive as to capturing more details about the customer before they create their account.

Enhancements

Enhanced Customer Profile Experience

We’ve improved the Create/Update Customer Profile page to enhance the user experience and ensure only necessary information is collected. These updates apply to both the sign-up and sign-in flows and focus on capturing any necessary information the first time the user interacts with Identity v3 (Powered by Auth0).

Sign-Up Flow Enhancements

When a new user signs up they will see a form displaying the fields needed to complete their initial account, including:

• First Name

• Last Name

• Date of Birth (DOB)

• Zip Code

• Phone Number

• Consent Preferences

To guide users through the process more effectively, we’ve added a new language string with clear and instructive messaging:

• New Language String: accounts.userprofile.formtitle.newuser

  Copy: “Almost there! Finish setting up your account.”

This ensures users understand the importance of providing complete details before creating their account.

Sign-In Flow Enhancements

For sign-in specific flows, we have made the following updates:

existing users signing in, we’ve streamlined the process to prompt only for the missing required information. For example:

• If a user’s profile includes their name, DOB, and zip code but is missing their phone number, they will only be presented that field and be required to fill that out before signing in.
