Q: I’m getting an inventory related error in the order queue but the product the guest purchased doesn’t have inventory mapped to it in AW commerce. A: If inventory is setup on any of the DCIs or components in the POS, it should also be setup in AW Commerce using the configuration steps for inventory. If the product is not setup with inventory mappings in AW commerce, the guest will be able to freely book, and if it sells out in the POS, then the order will fail because the two systems don’t have the same constraints. |

Q: Can I use the Edit Cart enhancement with Fast Flow products?
A: Because Fast Flow products do not use assignment in the same way that conventional products do, an assignment cannot be retained when returning to the page via the “Edit Options” mode. If enabled, the “Edit Options” link will load the Fast Flow page but will not load the assigned user or date.
Q: Can I use the Edit Cart enhancement with multiday non-consecutive date-based products with the date picker?
A: Aspenware does not recommend using the Enhanced Cart with Edit with these products as the edit mode is unable to reselect multiple dates.
Q: Can I use the Enhanced Cart with Edit in cases in which a voucher code is used to access a product?
A: These cases are not yet supported. However, multi-use product discount vouchers will work with Edit Cart mode.
Q: When I use Edit Options in the mini cart, the quantity is returned to 1. How do I avoid this?
A: Currently, if a guest selects the “add to cart” button multiple times on a PDP with a particular product-attribute combination, the quantity in the mini cart will increase within the parentheses. However, if “Edit Options” is selected in the mini-cart, updating the PDP will return the quantity to 1. To avoid this issue, we recommend using the quantity attribute.
Q: When I change the shoppingcart.editcartmobile language string, the display looks distorted. What’s going on?
A: The shoppingcart.editcartmobile language string supports only 6, sometimes 7, characters. If your updated text contains more characters, then reduce the text to 6 or 7 characters and that should fix the problem.
