Mountain Tech Symposium - AW Event: UPDATED 8/26/21
Thank you for registering for our pre-MTS customer conference. Unfortunately, we have made the very tough decision to cancel this event.
Aspenware is still traveling to attend MTS and we are very excited to see you all in person. As a result of some of the uncertainty surrounding the Delta Variant, we simply did not get enough registrations to make a formal customer conference something that would be valuable to everyone attending.We are still scheduled to arrive in Big Sky mid-day on Wednesday, September 15th, and would love to spend time with you more informally on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning as well as throughout the MTS event.We will be in contact again closer to the event and can make plans to connect and share exciting information about our roadmap. We plan to coordinate a somewhat informal Aspenware customer get-together to share and brainstorm.We are really looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.Regards,The Aspenware Team

Mountain Collective and Aspenware Commerce go hand-in-hand
Aspenware already supports the redemption of Mountain Collective days with its voucher functionality so that these guests can bypass your ticket line. However, now using Aspenware’s new custom Mountain Collective product configuration, which combines Fast Flow, Reservations, and a custom Stored Procedure, you can enable the entire redemption and reservation process in a single product.
Aspenware Commerce now includes a license for Identity
Aspenware Commerce now includes a license for Identity. Identity is an authentication platform that enables a single login (SSO) across various applications. It also offers an improved login experience over the native Commerce login. Some of the benefits of Identity include:
Implicit find me flows that are designed to reduce duplicate customers and improve the sign-in experience;
SSO to allow multiple applications to use Identity as an authentication platform; and
Additional editable text areas to improve the customer experience.
Identity implementations are slated to start mid-September and are expected to incur around 12 billable hours total (technical and service hours). For more information on Identity, visit our customer hub here. If you would like to schedule a demo or discuss implementation details, please reach out to your Aspenware representative.
Winter is coming… are you ready?
As your resort is prepping for your upcoming winter season, make sure your team has the resources to be the most successful.

Will my pass work at the lift? At most ski areas, a season pass requires that guests have a valid photo and a signed waiver before they can access a lift, but with the complexities and legalities associated with skiing and riding, there are several reasons why a guest’s pass may not work when they get to the lift. Read how the guests can use pass checker before arriving to the resort, here! |
Reducing Credit Card Chargebacks Many of our resorts are reporting a significantly higher number of chargebacks from online purchases than have been seen previously. To help reduce this impact for our customers, the Aspenware team has been meeting with our payment gateway partners, talking with thought leaders, and looking at the research on how we can work together to minimize fraudulent chargebacks and successfully challenge chargeback disputes when they do happen. Read all about it, here! |

Welcome to our new friends from the North. We are thrilled to have recently added 2 new resorts to our Aspenware Family! Welcome to Marmot Basin, located near Jasper, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies, and Alyeska Resort. Alyeska Resort is located 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska in the town of Gridwood. Our implementation team has really enjoyed working with the teams from our new resorts, especially Marty and Jake who visited the team in Alaska this fall.
