We have implemented a device-level authentication flow for Resort Tools. Now, resort staff will be prompted to sign in to the application every month to provide an additional layer of protection for Resort Tools functionality. We’ve also implemented several security improvements to the admin experience.

A Each resort will be given receive two sets types of credentials for Resort Tools: admin Admin and user. For configuring Resort Tools, the resort will sign in as an ‘admin,’ whereas to give the User.

  • User Credentials: Use these to grant guests access to Resort Tools

Please note:

  • The sign-in session will last for 30 days by default, after which the Resort will need to sign in again on the terminal

  • Each terminal must be signed in separately for guest access.

Aspenware will give 1 admin and 1 user credential to the Resort. If those credentials are forgotten, compromised, or additional individuals need immediate credentials because the individuals who had them are out/away, a Freshdesk ticket must be submitted so Aspenware can generate additional credentialsEach resort will initially receive one Admin credential and one User credential.

If credentials are ever forgotten or compromised or additional team members need immediate access (for example, if original users are unavailable), please submit a ticket through the Aspenware Support Portal. Aspenware will then provide additional credentials as needed.
