The following enhancements are available for Aspenware Cloud customers.

New Features

Calendar Templates

Admin

Aspenware is planning to release improved calendar availability urgency capabilities in 2.44 and is making the Calendar Template manager admin available Inventory Scarcity Indicators on the PDP calendar for Aspenware Cloud customers only in a future release. To prepare for this, the following admin screens have been updated in 2.43 to prepare for this feature release, giving admins time to make product setup adjustments.

To that end, Aspenware Cloud includes a new, global Calendar Template manager. With this manager, admins can view and create multiple Calendar Templates and each template contains a number of settings that control how the calendar will appear for the assigned products (after the 2.44 release) to create urgency for product purchase. Within the Calandar Template Manager, resort users are able to:

...

Determine whether or not assigned products should color code dates with low inventory

...

Add an optional description that will appear above the calendar for specified products.

...

and are visible to all Aspenware admins. Nothing needs to be done at this time, and further instructions will be provided in future Aspenware Cloud release notes once the feature is fully available.

  • A new tab has been added to the Dynamic Pricing admin area on the Product editor called “Calendar Display”

  • New tabs have been added to the Aspenware Styling admin area called “Calendar Templates” and Assignments”
