Note

IMPORTANT: “Aspenware Arrival - Kiosk” and “Aspenware Arrival - In Your Pocket” are complementary tools to improve your guest experience, however, each product requires unique and separate implementation and configuration.

  • Aspenware Arrival - Kiosk is geared toward a kiosk workflow where guests prepare for their activity by completing required information at a resort kiosk that is hosted on-premise. Kiosks guide all guests at a particular location through an identical flow, optimized for that location These can operate without an internet connection assuming configuration is optimized for offline usage. A fast flow option is available to guests with pre-filled information for their orders, but this flow is not optimized for personalizing the steps based on the guest’s data, see “Aspenware Arrival - In Your Pocket,” if personalizing based on guest info and order details is important. A Resort Tools or Aspenware Arrival license is required to use this product.

  • Aspenware Arrival - In Your Pocket is geared toward a pre-arrival workflow where guests prepare for their activity by completing the required information on their own devices using the Arrival app site. This product can be configured to personalize steps based on a guest’s upcoming orders. When configured with email notifications, guests will be notified that they have missing information and be directed to Aspenware Arrival to complete missing information. It can also be configured like a “kiosk in your pocket” and guide guests through an identical flow that captures all necessary information for a location. An Aspenware Arrival license is required to use this product.

Typically resorts that have licensed Aspenware Arrival use a combination of both products to achieve optimal onsite experience for all. For example, a resort would email guests with upcoming orders and missing information before their trip, prompting them to complete information online using “Aspenware Arrival - In Your Pocket.” These guests can go straight to their activity. For guests that show up the day of, they would be directed to a kiosk to fill out information using “Aspenware Arrival - Kiosk.”
