Pass Checker utilizes the same access validation rules that are set up in a resort’s RTP environment. When a guest checks if their pass is valid in Arrival, it is essentially the same as if the guest has scanned their pass at the lift as a validation validate-only scan occurs (note, it is not an entry scan(a scan will not be recorded). Pass Checker validates for date of use, and for access control. It does not currently validate for specific time of day. When a pass is scanned, Pass Checker validates against a default setting of 11:30AM MT. If the ticket has a time-limitation on it, and it is not valid at 11:30AM MT, Pass Checker will return a “Not Valid” response.
