Delivery Location This is also referred to as the “Shipping Location.” Within Aspenware Commerce, a delivery location gives an additional layer of detail to the delivery method. For example, if the delivery method is “Hotel Delivery” the locations might be set to “Premier Inn” and “Star Suites.” If the delivery method is “Standard Shipping,” the delivery location might be something like “USPS Standard Shipping.” A delivery method may have more than one delivery location, but a delivery location may not be associated to more than one delivery method. Delivery location is an additional layer to give flexibility to the delivery options a resort may wish to configure. Delivery MethodThis is also referred to as the “Shipping Method” within Aspenware Commerce. It refers to the method of delivery for a non-reloadable product that includes media or a media product. A product can have more than one delivery method associated to it for increased flexibility in configuration. |
Feature Description
The Delivery feature within Aspenware Commerce enables resorts to configure various delivery methods for their products that have media assigned (e.g. new season passes, gift cards, etc.) This offers the guest flexible options for obtaining their media. Once configured, Aspenware Commerce collects the delivery method, any required shipping address or instructions, and, if required, the collection of shipping and delivery fees. Delivery methods are assigned to media products (in the case of a new season pass or lift ticket media) or to products (in the case of gift cards or other products that include media.) This assignment automatically updates the User Interface to give the guest options for obtaining their media.
